Midwest Fuel Injection attended the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) the week of October 29, 2018. AAPEX is the premier global event representing the global aftermarket auto parts industry. We participated in meetings and booth representation with our business partner, Garrett Advancing Motion. We met up with David Fehling from the Association of Diesel Specialists (ADS) to catch up on the latest initiatives for the group. Additionally, we attended The Association for Sustainable Manufacturing’s (MERA) Executive Council Meeting. Topics discussed included tariffs, the economy, counterfeiting and changing workforce dynamics.
Midwest Fuel Injection’s new product labels, which now include MERA’s Manufactured Again Certification, were featured in the MERA booth along with two of our injectors–one new and one reman. It was difficult for attendees to tell which one was new! The week was filled with countless networking opportunities and customer meetings that were beneficial for everyone.
