Don’t take chances with anything less than Genuine Holset.
The Seidel Diesel Group is proud to sell genuine Holset turbochargers. The right Holset turbocharger replacement means less downtime, better power performance and better fuel economy for years to come.
Original Holset turbochargers and parts are built to meet or exceed your engine’s original specifications for performance, reliability and durability in a demanding environment.
Turbos for Cummins engines: ISX15, ISX12, ISM11, ISC/ISL8.9, ISB6.7, F3A, CURSOR 13, DLC6, MD13, D12
Holset Variable Geometry Turbochargers (VGT)
Benefits of Holset VGT
- Good transient response
- Improved fuel economy
- Increased useful engine operating speed range
- Enhanced compression brake capability
- Proven durable design
- Reduced engine swept volume and package size for a given rating
- Helps control Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) to meet emissions regulations
Pneumatic or Electric Actuation
The Holset VGT is part of a totally integrated fuel and air control system controlled by the engine electronics. Either electric or pneumatic actuation can be used to regulate the turbocharger’s nozzle geometry. Pneumatic actuation harnesses air pressure from the vehicle braking system. Alternatively a water cooled and automatically calibrated electric motor actuator makes for a simplified installation while maintaining responsiveness and overall turbocharger performance.

Trust The Right Turbocharger
Holset’s investment in technology ensures your customers are provided with the exacting turbo specifications designed for their engines.
Genuine Holset provides:
- Better Fuel Economy
- Increased Engine Power
- Prolonged Engine Life
- Durability and Reliability
The precision of Holset turbocharger technology rivals that of today’s most advanced jet engines. Spinning at thousands of revolutions per minute, any part that’s off by as little as a fraction of a millimeter can potentially affect performance.
Metals with even the smallest microstructure difference can lead to premature failure. Actuators that depend on low-quality circuit boards risk short circuits – and then compound the problem with inaccurate servicing information.
The decision to replace an original equipment (OE) turbo with a non-genuine or will-fit may save a few bucks initially but will likely cost you thousands of dollars in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) down the road.
Putting Holset to the Test
Holset was put to the test to prove the risks of will-fit, rebuilt, repaired, or remanufactured turbos. Don’t gamble by using non-genuine turbochargers. When you trust genuine Holset Turbochargers, you’re assured that quality, reliability and standardization is built in. The proof is in engineered testing, pitting Genuine Holset turbochargers and components against non-genuine parts.
Testing included material examinations, parts chemistry analysis and detailed visual inspections on a mid-range B-Series turbocharger and an ISB6.7 VGT™ actuator. The results demonstrate why you should always choose Genuine Holset products.
